Just wanted to wish anyone reading my blog a Very Merry Christmas.  Thanks for checking out my site on occasion. Its a quiet one for us this year.  We are seeing the Ps tomorrow for a Birthday Lobster Lunch which will be lovely.  Then hopefully a quick trek to the South Bank to do the Christmas Market then home to get sloshed and stuffed. Rib of Beef for Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings. So far we have shopped in Waitrose, M+S and Sainsburys is delivering tonight.  Oh and the Beef from the Butchers!  Collecting that today. All presents are wrapped and under the tree.  So far Charlie hasnt investigated hers so its still wrapped securely. The pond is pretty full but not yet overflowing with all the rain we have had.  My thoughts do go to those who have lost so much due to flooding. My thoughts are also with my lovely friend C.  I hope she and P can enjoy this Christmas with vigour and fervur. Thinking of you both as always and my love goes out...

Wow the second week was as good as the first - Sunday's massage was lovely. The weather started to change slightly in the second week with a bit more cloud, but it was still gorgeous. Monday we went to see if we could go to Agious Nicholous - on the walk to the bus stop we passed a car rental place, so we decided instead to rent a car the following day so we could go where we wanted.  After that we went back to the hotel and slobbed by the pool.  Oh dear its a hard life. Tuesday we picked up the car at 10am and off we headed - Tony was driving and we needed to fill up first.  Its so hard to know how much petrol will be needed and we over estimated of course! The drive to Agios went well till we hit the town centre and then missed the carpark entrance.  It was a one way system but Tony sneaked back and got in so that was fun!  We walked around the coast and headed to the Pool. Checked out All the shops and bought some gifts for the family then went for a huge fi...

Its been a great week. The massage was lovely - a joint one with Tony with a body scrub to start then a relaxing pummelling. The meals every day have been amazing.  We are overwhelmed by the choice and quality.  Breakfast - you can have full 'English' or continental with all sorts of meats and cheese.  Waffles, pancakes, breads galore.  Even smoked salmon and Champagne! Lunch is not included but the pool menu is brilliant - we had a platter of prawns one day which were really tasty and another day a Pork kebab.  Very nice! Dinners are just as good every night with a huge choice of fish dishes, meat dishes and salad and vegetables and as for desserts!!!!  Woweee. We decided to go Al A Carte one night at the Blue Monkey and were disappointed, the choice wasnt huge and the food, while ok, wasnt any better than our local Takeaway so we have agreed to not bother with any other Al A Cartes again. Monday was an interesting day - we got an offer on the house so th...
