I should have remembered, but you always hope. Last year Tony had major problems with an Amazon order which in the end didnt arrive in time for Christmas. This year I have just experienced something so blood boiling I had to blog. I ordered a couple of CDs that I wanted and fell for the order up to blah amount and get postage free so added on another CD to get the offer. I got a confirmation that the order would be available in 2 weeks. Then 2 weeks later got an email saying the CD that I had added on to the order was delayed and would be another 2 weeks before it was sent. Of course Amazon wouldnt send out the CD that was ready because I had clicked send out as one parcel. I was very annoyed, but got even more so when I was not able to find anywhere on the site for an email address for Customer Service. I sent a couple of emails to guessed addresses and one seemed to go through, but no one responded from Amazon. The real bug bear was I couldnt even cancel the order to...

Tony has done a stirling job this week, painted the lounge and the dining room. We went a bit mad with colour which is not something I would normally do, but both rooms look amazing now! Got guests coming for dinner tomorrow so hence the dash to get it looking good. A dark red on the dining room wall with a light yellow on the rest and in the lounge - a really lovely cerise pink on 3 of the walls and a turquoise on the 4th! We have now just ordered a huge clock for the chimney and are going to be arty and make a back drop for it and we have seen a few fractal pictures we like for the lounge wall so its almost there. Oh and the covering for the front windows arrived and make the room look amazing with privacy intact. Roll on December so we can get the crimbo decorations sorted!!!! Next plan is to do the hall in the same yellow as the dining room but thats a big job involving the stairs and landing too! Then we aim to do the Study at Crimbo, new floor involved...
